What our customers are saying.
I purchased your W190 grand piano (Charles Walter) in 2000 at Helmers Music in Bellevue, Washington. I moved to Germany this year and, naturally, shipped my piano with me. The piano is marvelous and the local piano tuner here in Germany told me he thought it was better than Steinway.

I recently purchased a Schimmel grand piano with the Piano Disc pds 128 from Helmer's. If you are in the market for a piano I sincerely hope you will get a chance to read this note and then buy your piano from them. It will save you time and money. Several months ago I began looking for a piano for my new home. I have two boys and used to play myself and wanted to start taking lessons again. Because a piano is a lifelong purchase and is quite expensive, I felt strongly about doing my homework first. I purchased a copy of "The Piano Book" by Larry Fine. I researched on the internet and spent several weeks shopping around the Puget Sound area. I encourage you to read the passage on Schimmel pianos in Larry's book for yourself.
I decided on the Schimmel piano for several reasons, first was the value for the dollar. I feel that the Schimmel is as good or better than a Steinway and cost about 70% of the price. The West German workmanship on the Schimmel is outstanding and almost impossible to find for any piano in its price.
I can't say enough good things about Steve and Tom. Both were helpful before and after the sale spending a lot of time explaining the different features of each piano while not pressuring us to buy immediately. Helmer's is a family run business, when dealing with them I felt and still feel that I'm dealing with people of integrity who put theircustomers first. When you buy a piano at Helmer's you'll get a better price than at the big chain stores, better customer service and the satisfaction of helping a local business.
